Question to Minister Chagger: How is this government supporting newcomer entrepreneurs?
In November 28, 2017 Senator Ratna Omidvar asked the Honourable Bardish Chagger, Minister of Small Business and Tourism, about the state of newcomer entrepreneurship in Canada. The question was inspired by Ryerson University's Diversity Institute's latest report, which concluded that immigrant entrepreneurs are not starting off on the same footing as other entrepreneurs in Canada.
